At GroomBox, we’re proud to deliver a premium grooming subscription box directly to your door each month. Below is everything you need to know about how our subscription service works, what to expect, and how to manage your subscription.

Box Types & What’s Included

Your first box typically ships shortly after your first order in the form of a Favorites Box. Shipping timelines may vary. Future boxes ship near the end of each month. Additionally, featured brands such as Hydra, make repeat appearances.

Premium Grooming Subscription Box

Includes 1 shear and up to 8 products.
Items may include shampoos, conditioners, tools, accessories, or a curated mix.

Core Grooming Subscription Box

Includes up to 6 full-size products.
No shear included. Great for groomers wanting to try premium products without shears.

Double-up your products and save! Great for stocking your salon, or sharing with friends!

Classic Grooming Subscription Box

Includes 1 shear plus up to 3 products.
A balanced mix of well-known and boutique brands.

Lite Grooming Subscription Box

Includes 1 shear.
Ideal for shear lovers and budget-conscious subscribers, and those who work in corporate.


New Subscribers

All new subscribers receive a Favorites Box based on their selected tier shortly after placing their first order.

  • Favorites Boxes are pre-packed with top-rated products and tools from previous boxes
  • This allows us to ship your first box right away, no waiting for the next monthly cycle
  • Lite Tier: Includes one previously featured shear only (no extras)

After your first box, you’ll join the regular shipping cycle, with boxes sent near the end of each month.

How Annual Prepay Works

  • Annual prepay includes 12 scheduled monthly shipments.
  • Payment is collected in full at checkout.
  • Prepaid purchases are final and non refundable once submitted.
  • Shipments are delivered monthly according to schedule.
  • Annual prepay plans automatically renew for the same term unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • After all prepaid shipments are delivered, the subscription continues only if renewed.

If you need flexibility or the ability to cancel at any time, choose the monthly subscription instead.


Existing Subscribers

As an active GroomBox subscriber, you get more than just premium products. Also, you get full control, exclusive perks, and flexible options.

Manage Your Grooming Subscription Box Anytime

You can manage your subscription directly from your online account:

  • Switch between available tiers or plan options for future renewals, subject to availability.
  • Pause or cancel future renewals through your online account at any time before your renewal processes.

Renewal Schedule

All subscriptions renew on the day you sign up on each month
Boxes ship near the end of each month, regardless of payment date.

Your upcoming renewal date is always visible in your account dashboard.
Important: Make sure your billing and shipping info is current to avoid delays.

Earn Rewards

You earn 1 reward point for every renewal and 1 for every referral.
Rewards are redeemable starting at just 3 points, use them for discounts, upgrades, and more! Reward points have no cash value and may be modified or discontinued at GroomBox’s discretion.

  • Refer friends or coworkers to GroomBox and you both get 1 point after their first purchase
  • Referral points stack with your regular monthly points

Cancellations

  • You can cancel anytime through your online account to stop future renewals
  • Cancellation does not refund payments already made
  • Boxes already paid for will ship as scheduled
  • No refunds on canceled subscriptions
  • Our custom shears are made months in advance, which is why we cannot accept returns or offer refunds once orders are processed

Damaged Items

If your box arrives damaged, email us right away at [email protected].

For shears:

  • You pay to ship shears back to GroomBox at your expense.
  • Return shipping is covered retroactively only if a manufacturer defect or shipping induced damage is confirmed by us.
  • If confirmed defective (due to shipping or manufacturing), we’ll replace with the same or similar item at no charge

For wet products:

  • We’ll reship the same or similar item if requested
  • Note: Leaking is rare due to our secure packaging

Refused Deliveries & Failed Delivery Attempts

  • If you refuse delivery or fail to pick up your package, it will be considered delivered
  • We’ll hold it for up to 30 days
  • You may request reshipment at your own cost
  • In rare cases where a refund is granted, postage will be deducted
  • Multiple failed deliveries may result in account suspension or termination.

GroomBox is not responsible for missed deliveries due to incorrect or outdated shipping info.


Delayed Shipments

  • All shipments are insured
  • If your package is delayed more than 15 days, contact us
  • We’ll file a claim and reship or refund once it’s resolved
  • We do not reship boxes while a claim is active or if the package is still in transit

Lost or Stolen Grooming Subscription Box

  • If tracking shows “delivered” but you didn’t receive it:
    • You must get a carrier-issued letter confirming misdelivery
    • Without this, we cannot issue a refund or replacement
  • GroomBox is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery is confirmed by the carrier. Carrier confirmation showing delivery to the address provided at checkout constitutes proof of delivery.

Other Refunds & Exceptions

  • No refunds on gift cards, account credits, or promotional items
  • No returns accepted on subscription products, tools, or accessories
  • All sales are final

International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping, but we’re working on it! International shipping is not currently available for new orders.
