Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies exclusively to purchases made through GroomBox LLC on groombox.us and related US-operated sites. This policy does not apply to international orders, which are governed by separate terms.

This policy is incorporated into and must be read together with the GroomBox LLC Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict, the Terms and Conditions control.

All Sales Are Final

All purchases made through GroomBox LLC are final sale.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Subscription boxes
  • One time purchases
  • Grooming tools and shears
  • Accessories and add on items
  • Promotional and gift purchases

Refunds and returns are not offered except as expressly stated in this policy.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are receiving physical goods prepared in advance and that payment is non refundable once processed.

Subscriptions and Renewals

Subscription renewals are processed automatically on the scheduled renewal date.

Once a renewal has processed and payment has been captured, the order is non refundable regardless of shipping status.

You may cancel future renewals through your account dashboard prior to renewal processing. Cancellation stops future billing only and does not affect any order already processed or fulfilled.

Charges fund advance production, inventory allocation, and fulfillment preparation. For this reason, completed or in process renewals are not eligible for refund.

Refund Policy for Prepaid Subscriptions

Prepaid subscriptions are non refundable immediately upon purchase.

By completing a prepaid subscription checkout, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The full prepaid amount is charged immediately.
  • The purchase covers future goods delivered over time.
  • The prepaid purchase is final once payment is submitted.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Cancellation requests made at any time after purchase
  • Unused or remaining shipments
  • Dissatisfaction with product selection
  • Business closure or changes in professional circumstances
  • Failure to update address or account details
  • Automatic renewal of a prepaid subscription

Refunds may only be issued if GroomBox fails to provide any product at all under the prepaid subscription or where required by law.

All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Delivery Confirmation and Fulfillment

An order is considered fulfilled once the carrier confirms delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.

Carrier confirmation showing delivery to the correct address constitutes proof of delivery.

GroomBox LLC is not responsible for claims of non receipt after carrier confirmed delivery unless the carrier verifies misdelivery in writing.

Damaged or Defective Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, you may be eligible for a replacement only, not a refund, subject to the conditions below.

To submit a claim, you must:

  • Notify customer service within seven (7) days of carrier confirmed delivery
  • Contact [email protected]
  • Provide clear photographs and a written description of the issue

For grooming shears and cutting tools:

  • The item must be returned for inspection
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • GroomBox LLC will inspect the item to determine whether the issue resulted from a manufacturing or transit defect

If a defect is confirmed, GroomBox LLC will issue a replacement item of the same or comparable style and value.

Replacement will not be issued for damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, drops, blade collisions, neglect, modification, or normal wear.

Items that are discarded, altered, or not returned for inspection are not eligible for replacement.

Refused, Undeliverable, or Unclaimed Shipments

Shipments that are refused, returned by the carrier, undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete address information, or not collected after carrier notice are considered delivered and fulfilled.

In such cases:

  • The order remains non refundable
  • Reshipment may be offered at the customer’s expense

Failure to update address information prior to renewal does not qualify for a refund or free reshipment.

Chargebacks and Fraudulent Disputes

By placing an order, you agree that chargebacks are not an alternative to refunds or returns.

Initiating a chargeback for an order that has been delivered, fulfilled, or retained without return constitutes a breach of the Terms and Conditions.

GroomBox LLC reserves the right to dispute chargebacks using carrier delivery confirmation, account records, policy acknowledgments, and communication history.

If a chargeback is filed for merchandise that has been delivered and not returned in accordance with this policy, the reversed amount constitutes an outstanding balance owed to GroomBox LLC.

Unpaid balances may be referred to a third party collections agency, including Intellicollect, and may be pursued as permitted by law.

Dispute Reason Code Clarification

Purchases made through GroomBox LLC do not qualify as refundable cancellations after processing, shipment, or delivery.

Claims that an item was returned when no authorized return occurred, or claims that an order was canceled after fulfillment, are not valid under this policy.

Customers are required to follow the damage claim process outlined above. Failure to do so voids eligibility for replacement or credit.

Gift Cards and Credits

Refunds or exchanges are not offered for:

  • Gift cards
  • Store credits
  • Bonus or promotional items

Gift cards and credits do not expire unless required by applicable law.
